Universal Rifle Scope Mount Rail

For any make or model with the rear sight attached to a dovetail on the barrel, it is not recommended for semi-auto pistols. We suggest having the rail face rearward for any caliber over .22. The rail comes in black anodized color, but can be specially ordered in aluminum color for stainless steel guns. Please contact me for more information.

This rail serves as a replacement for the rear sight attached to the rifle's barrel dovetail. It is specifically designed for small optics only, such as red dots, reflex sights, etc., on top eject guns. The Short Rail should not be used on heavy recoiling guns larger than .44 Magnum with optics heavier than 5 oz. A regular rifle scope can be used on non-top eject guns with calibers up to .44 Magnum. It is ideal for smaller optics on guns ranging from .22 caliber up to .44 Magnum, as well as most classic pistol caliber carbines like the Winchester Model 73, and more.

This rail is compatible with any gun that has a dovetailed rear sight, and can easily be installed using simple hand tools without the need for drilling or tapping. Enjoy the benefits of modern optics on many of your favorite guns!

Important: This rail comes with two different sized dovetail blocks - a small one for American Standard 3/8" slots, and a large one for modern foreign made guns with metric slots. It is recommended that the block fits snugly, and minor file fitting may be necessary in some cases. Shipping is done through USPS for domestic orders in the USA.
